This game story started out as a test game for the Balance Mod v1.20 Alpha. With the large number of changes in the BM v1.20, I wanted to observe first hand how the AI empires were performing. I decided I would play as the Xiati Empire, keeping roughly in line with how their AI personality was designed. The game settings were designed for a relatively quick game with limited numbers of colonizes, systems and vehicles. I took a lot of technology points up front so the game would be at a mid-tech level, but high tech cost to keep the technology pace slow. I've been keeping turn logs and screenshots as the game progresses to document my activities. Around every 10-20 turns I post a summary along with screenshots and other images to spice it up.
